Chelsea Smith,
RN, BSN, PMHNP
Board Certified-Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Seeking support for your mental health is a brave and meaningful step. My goal is to meet you with warmth, curiosity, and clinical expertise so you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a unique background that blends evidence-based psychiatric care with a whole-body wellness approach. I work with teens and adults (ages 15+), offering thoughtful medication management and supportive tools to nurture mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

My path to this work has been both personal and purpose-driven. In addition to my roles as an RN and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I’ve been a yoga practitioner and teacher for over 20 years and have studied the powerful roles that nutrition, mindful movement, nature, and community play in mental health. One of the most influential chapters of my life was working as a birth doula, supporting women and their families through pregnancy and childbirth, an experience that deepened my passion for women’s health across the lifespan.

I earned my nursing degree from the University of Colorado and spent eight years specializing in eating disorder treatment and pediatric emergency medicine, two areas that helped shape my trauma-informed, compassionate approach to care. In 2023, I completed advanced clinical training at Frontier Nursing University to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner where I went on to specialize in community mental health, first break psychosis and integrative outpatient services.

Each of these roles has strengthened my belief that humans are complex, resilient, and deserving of care that honors the whole person.

Today, I specialize in treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PMDD, perinatal mental health, personality disorders, and sleep disorders. I also support clients managing chronic conditions such as Lyme disease, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), and fibromyalgia. I believe deeply in the mind-body connection and often incorporate tools including genetic testing, hormone assessments, vitamin supplementation, and personalized lifestyle interventions into treatment plans. I collaborate closely with primary care providers and therapists to ensure a coordinated, whole-person approach to care.

Whether you're facing a new diagnosis, exploring treatment options, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that aligns with your values, your goals, and your whole self.

This is your space to heal, and I’m honored to be part of your journey.
